Spectral functions of one-dimensional conductors

Eric Jeckelmann

I will show that the spectral properties of one-dimensional correlated electron models can be accurately determined using a momentum-resolved dynamical density matrix renormalization group method. This allows us to compare theoretical predictions for one-dimensional systems with experimental results for quasi-one-dimensional materials. To illustrate this approach I will discuss the angle-resolved photoemission spectrum of the organic conductor TTF-TCNQ.
